There are two ways to start the Simulation-module:
· From Mavim
· From Visio
Both options are explained below:
From Mavim:
1. Click the Analyse button on the Modelling ribbon tab.
2. Select either Start Simulation Flow Chart or Start Simulation Cross Function Flowchart, depending on which type of chart you want to simulate.
3. The chart will be created or opened in the normal manner (for more information, see Flowchart and Cross Function Flowchart). Visio will be started with the Simulation module.
From Visio:
If you have started up a flowchart of a cross function flowchart, you can start the simulation module as follows:
· Select Simulation in the right click menu on the drawing. The simulation module will now be started.

Note: When you want to use the simulation module, it is easier to maximise the Visio window by clicking 
in the top right corner.
Additionally, you can move the simulation module by means of drag and drop so that it is placed on the right side of the chart:
