It is possible to couple an email address with a topic. In every Description screen in which a hyperlink has been created to a topic that is coupled with an E-mail address, the user can directly open the website by clicking the hyperlink (see Hyperlinks).
To couple an Email Address:
- In the Topic screen select the topic to which you want to couple a file.
- Select the Edit tab followed by the Couple Topic with drop down button or right-click and select Couple Topic with.
- Select E-mail.
The following window appears:
- Enter the email address (the application will add mailto: to the email address when you test it, or click OK).
- Test the link by clicking Test (your default email application will be opened with the addressee you entered).

In the Relationships screen of the topic with which the email address is coupled, the link is shown as a relationship in the With What relationship category. By double-clicking the relationship, an email will be opened.
Email addresses are distinguished by the value External Files in the From column. - For coupled email addresses, you can Edit Paths.
