Description Screen - Creating Hyperlinks

In the Description screen you can add a hyperlink as text or as a picture. A hyperlink will allow you to jump to another topic from the Description screen. Settings for textual hyperlinks can be modified (see Options Description Screen).

By clicking a hyperlink text or image, the user jumps to the hyperlinked topic. If the topic in the hyperlink is coupled to a file, an Internet address or email address, this will open instead.

    • The text for a hyperlink is the same as the topic name to which it refers. If the name of that topic is changed, the text for the hyperlink changes automatically (see also Edit Hyperlink). If the topic is removed, the hyperlink is converted to normal text.
    •  Due to performance issues, hyperlinks that are used in appendices for your Word publications will only be available 1 level deep.
