As previously stated, the Fields Usage screen gives you an overview of all fields in your database and allows you to see which topics have which field sets and fields assigned to them. In this section we will look at how you can use this feature.
1. In Mavim Manager, switch to the Administration tab on the ribbon.
2. From the Administrative Tools section, select Fields Usage.
3. Once the screen has appeared, in the top section, select the field you are interested in viewing.
The top section of the Fields Usage screen shows the following information:
The columns are as follows:
· Name - The name of the field.
· Field Type - The type of the field.
· Set Count - The number of fields sets the field belongs to.
· Topic Count - The number of topics the field is assigned to.
4. Now have a look at the bottom section of the screen. The section on the left shows the field sets the selected topic is associated with:
5. Select one of the field sets.
6. The section on the bottom right now shows the topics that have that field set assigned:
With this information, you can better plan your fields for the database.
