File Explorer

Mavim Manager offers the File Explorer feature to allow you to manage any files that are being stored and used in the online environment. Here we will cover the available functions and several use cases.

Uploading files:

When you upload a file to the online environment, it is automatically stored on the H drive (Personal). As a user, only you are able to see the files stored in this location. Files that are then moved to the S drive (Shared) can be seen by all users within your company.

Downloading files:

The only way to download a file from the online environment is by placing them in the TempDisk drive. You can use the File Explorer to move files from the other locations to the TempDisk and depending on how your browser has been configured, the file will be downloaded automatically.  Alternatively you can use the File Manager to select and download files from the TempDisk. Note that the File Manager is limited to the TempDisk location.
