File Explorer - Exporting a Version

In some cases, you will want to export a version from your database. Follow these steps to achieve this.

1. From the tree view, select the version you wish to export.

2. Open the context menu on the version and select Export Version.

3. From the Select Version screen, make sure the version you selected is highlighted and click OK. (optionally, you can add a password to protect the contents of the version)

4. Notice that when you click OK, the location selected will be the H drive (personal).

5. Click Save.

6. The version will now be exported from the database.

7. Once this is complete, select the Tools ribbon.

8. From the Tools section, select File Explorer.

9. Your H drive will be selected and you should be able to see the exported version. Right click on the version and from the context menu select Cut.

10. Now on the left panel, right click on the TempDisk select Paste.

The version will now be moved to the TempDisk and can be downloaded from there.
