First Time Starting Mavim Manager

The Mavim Manager user interface consists of various elements such as screens, menus and toolbars.

When you start Mavim for the first time, the Development Environment will have a default lay-out called the Basic View. This view contains the most important windows and toolbars to be used in Mavim. The next time Mavim is started, the last used view will be selected. The main topic Mavim Database will always be selected and all sub-topics will be shown collapsed.

You have a lot of control regarding customisation of the user interface. See View options.

The following Help topics explain the user interface:

  • Screens: Mavim screens and their content.

  • Screens Layout: How to set your preferences for the layout of Mavim screens.

  • Screen - Options: Which specific settings do the screens have?

  • Navigation: How to navigate through Mavim.
