How to adjust print settings for the Description screen
Target audience:
Users who want to print content from the Description screen with customized layout and paper settings.
Core purpose:
To guide users through configuring margins, paper size, and layout before printing the Description screen.
Steps to access print settings
- Place your cursor inside the Description screen.
- Right-click and select File.
- Click Page Setup.
- The Page Setup window will open with three tabs:
- Margins
- Paper
- Layout
Margins tab
Use this tab to set the page margins:
- Left, right, top, bottom margins
Enter values in inches. Refer to Options Description Screen for unit settings.
Paper tab
Customize paper dimensions and type:

Paper size
Choose from standard sizes (e.g., A4, Letter) or define a custom size. -
Width and height
Automatically set for standard sizes. If manually adjusted, the paper size will switch to Custom Size.
Layout tab
Control how sections are printed:
- Section start options:
- Continuous
- New page
- Even page
- Odd page
Note: Headers and footers are not supported in the Description screen. These options can be ignored.
Important notes
- These settings affect how the Description screen content appears when printed.
- You can save your settings as default for future use.
- Always preview your print layout to confirm formatting before printing.
