How to align tables in the Description screen

Target audience:
Users working with tables in the Description screen who want to control table alignment and width.

Core purpose:
To explain how to align tables to the left, center, or right, and how to adjust table width and indentation.

Steps to align a table

1. Click inside the table you want to align.
2. Right-click and select Table Properties.
3. The Table Properties window opens with the Table tab selected.

Adjust table width

• In the Size section, set the Width of the table.
  • You can enter a value in inches or as a percentage of the Description screen width.
  • Example: 100% makes the table span the full width of the screen.

Set table alignment

• In the Alignment section, choose one of the following:
  • Left
  • Center
  • Right

If you choose Left, you can also set an Indent from left value:

• Enter the number of inches to offset the table from the left margin.
• This helps position the table precisely within the layout.

Important notes

• Table alignment affects how surrounding content flows.
• Indentation is only available when aligning left.
• Width settings help maintain consistent layout across different screen sizes or exports.
