How to Change Topic Type

It is possible to change the Type and/or Icon of several topics at once:

1. Select a topic.
2. Choose the context menu or the Edit
3. Choose Change Topic Type in the Properties group.

Note: By pressing F6 you can go directly to Change Topic Type.

A screen is opened with the Type and Icon tabs; all of the topics from the Topics screen are shown here. You can select either a list of topics or individual topics.

Select a list of topics:

1. Select the first topic of the list.
2. Press and hold the SHIFT key while selecting the last topic of the list.

Select individual topics:

1. Select a topic.
2. Press and hold the CTRL key while selecting the separate topics.

Change Type or Icon:

1. Choose the Type or Icon
2. Select the required value from the dropdown menu.
3. Click Apply so that the changes are implemented for all selected topics.
4. If the changes are not correct, click Undo.
5. When you are finished, click Close.

Note: The icon cannot be changed for some topic types.
