How to check spelling as you type in the Description screen

Target audience:
Users who want to improve writing accuracy while entering text in the Description screen.

Core purpose:
To guide users through enabling and using the "Check spelling as you type" feature, helping them identify and correct spelling errors in real time.


Step-by-step instructions

Enable spell check while typing

  1. Click inside the Description screen to place your cursor.
  2. Go to the Tools tab in the toolbar.
  3. Select Spelling, then click Check spelling as you type.

Once activated, any word not found in the dictionary will be visually marked (usually with a red underline).


Correct spelling errors

  1. Right-click the marked word to open the context menu.
  2. Choose one of the following options:
    • Select a suggested word to replace the misspelled one.
    • Ignore All if the word is correct but you don’t want it flagged again in this screen.
    • Add to User Dictionary if the word is correct and you want it recognized in future spell checks.

Important notes

  • This feature only works in the Description screen.
  • Adding a word to your User Dictionary makes it valid across all future spell checks.
  • Ignoring a word applies only to the current Description screen.
