How to copy relationships between topics
Target audience
Users who want to duplicate existing relationships between topics in Mavim without manually recreating them.
Purpose
This article explains how to copy a relationship from one topic and apply it to another, saving time when managing complex topic structures.
Steps to copy a relationship

Select the source topic
In the Topics screen, choose the topic that contains the relationship you want to copy. -
Choose the relationship to copy
In the Relationships screen, select the specific relationship you want to duplicate. -
Copy the relationship
Right-click the selected relationship and click Copy. -
Select the target topic
In the Topics screen, choose the topic where you want to apply the copied relationship. -
Paste the relationship
Go to the Relationships screen, right-click, and select Paste.
Important notes
- The end point of a relationship is relative. Its meaning depends on the direction from which you view the relationship. Keep this in mind when copying.
- Copying a relationship does not duplicate the topic itself, only the link between topics.
- You can use CTRL + C and CTRL + V as shortcuts for copy and paste.
