How to create relationships between topics

This article explains the different ways to create relationships between topics in Mavim, including using screens, matrices, and shortcuts.
Ways to create relationships
1. From the Topics screen
- Select a topic.
- Right-click and choose New Relationship(s) from the context menu.
- Select the relationship category.
- Choose the topic you want to link to.
2. From the Relationships screen
- Right-click in the Relationships screen and select New Relationship(s).
- Pick the relationship category.
- Select the topic you want to connect.
3. Using a Matrix
- Ideal for creating multiple relationships quickly.

4. By copying and pasting topics
- Select a topic and choose Copy from the context menu (or press
CTRL + C). - Select the target topic.
- Go to the Relationships screen, right-click, and select Paste (or press

- Click the appropriate button on the Ribbon to create relationships directly.
Tips for creating multiple relationships
