How to delete a relationship between topics

Target audience

Users who need to remove relationships between topics in Mavim.

Purpose

This article explains how to delete a relationship from the Relationships screen and provides additional options for bulk deletion.

Delete a relationship in the Relationships screen

1. In the Relationships screen, click the relationship you want to delete.
2. Press the DELETE key on your keyboard.
3. A confirmation message appears asking if you want to remove all relationships between the selected topic in the Topics screen and the topics in that relationship category.
   • Click Yes to delete all relationships in that category.
   • Click No to delete only the selected relationship.

Delete relationships in a matrix

• You can also delete relationships directly in the Matrix view.
  For detailed steps, see Add Relationships and Characteristics in the Matrix.

Important notes

• Deleting a relationship does not delete the topics themselves, only the link between them.
• Use caution when selecting Yes in the confirmation dialog, as this removes all relationships in the chosen category.
