How to delete relationships in Mavim

Target audience

Mavim users who need to remove relationships between topics in their models.

Core purpose/goal

To explain how to delete relationships in Mavim using the Relationships screen or the Matrix view.

Steps to delete a relationship

Delete in the Relationships screen

1. Open the Relationships screen for the topic.
2. Click the relationship you want to remove.
3. Press the DELETE key on your keyboard.
4. Confirm the deletion:
   • You will be asked if you want to remove the relationship.
   • Click Yes to delete the relationship.

Delete in the Matrix

• You can also delete relationships directly in the Matrix view.
• For detailed instructions, see Add Relationships and Characteristics in the Matrix.

Important notes

• Deleting a relationship does not delete the topics themselves, only the link between them.
