2. Open the publication settings
- Go to File > Publication > Word Document.
- The Word Publication window will appear.
3. Choose the starting topic

- In the Theme field, choose a theme for your manual.
- You can use an existing theme or create a new one.
- Important: Printing without a theme is not possible.
Theme types:
- Theme in Paragraphs Format – for handbooks.
- Theme in Columns Format – for work instructions.
Choose the format that suits your needs.
5. Configure print data
- Title: Default is the name of the starting topic. You can change this before printing.
- Version: If printing a distribution compartment (or part of it), the Name and Number fields cannot be manually changed.
- Status: Set by the user (e.g., “Definitive” or “For evaluation”).
