How to move a relationship to another topic

Mavim users who need to update or reorganize relationships between topics.

Core purpose

This article explains how to move an existing relationship from one topic to another, changing the target topic without deleting or recreating the relationship.

Steps to move a relationship

1. In the Relationships screen, select the relationship you want to move.
2. Right-click and choose Move from the context menu.
3. In the window that opens, select the new target topic.
4. Click Select to confirm.

Important notes

• You can only move one relationship at a time using this method.
• Moving a relationship changes the target topic but keeps the relationship category intact.
• Ensure you select the correct topic before confirming, as there is no bulk undo option.
