How to move a relationship to another topic in Mavim

Mavim users who need to update existing relationships by changing their target topic.

To explain how to move an existing relationship from one topic to another using the Move option in the Relationships screen.

What does moving a relationship mean?

• Moving a relationship changes the target topic of the relationship without deleting or recreating it.
• This is useful when the original target is no longer relevant or needs to be replaced.

Steps to move a relationship

1. Open the Relationships screen

   • Navigate to the topic that contains the relationship you want to move.

2. Select the relationship

   • Click the relationship you want to move.

3. Choose Move from the context menu

   • Right-click the selected relationship and click Move.

4. Select the new target topic

   • In the window that opens, choose the topic you want to move the relationship to.
   • Click Select to confirm.

Important notes

• You can only move one relationship at a time.
• The relationship category remains the same after moving.
• Verify the new relationship in the Relationships screen to ensure accuracy.
