How to remove a characteristic from a relationship in Mavim
Target audience
Mavim users who have previously assigned characteristics to relationships and want to remove them.
Core purpose/goal
To guide users through the process of clearing a characteristic from an existing relationship in the Relationships screen.
Steps to remove a characteristic
- Open the Relationships screen for the topic.
- Select the relationship that contains the characteristic you want to remove.
- Right-click to open the context menu.
- Click Clear Characteristic.
Important notes
- Removing a characteristic does not delete the relationship itself, only the assigned attribute.
- You can reassign a new characteristic later if needed.
- Characteristics are optional, so clearing them will not affect the functionality of the relationship.
