How to view the print layout of the Description screen

Target audience:
Users who want to preview how the Description screen will appear when printed or published.

Core purpose/goal:
To show users how to switch to the Print Layout view in the Description screen for a more accurate representation of printed output.


Steps to view the Print Layout

You can access the Print Layout in two ways:

Option 1: Using the ribbon

  1. Place your cursor inside the Description screen.
  2. Go to the Layout tab in the ribbon.
  3. Select Description Screen Options > Print Layout.

Option 2: Using the context menu

  1. Place your cursor inside the Description screen.
  2. Right-click to open the context menu.
  3. Select View > Print Layout.

The Description screen will now display in Print Layout mode, showing how the content will appear when printed or exported.


Important notes

  • Print Layout is useful for checking formatting, spacing, and page breaks before printing or publishing.
  • This view does not affect the actual content; it’s purely visual.
