How To
Each topic description in Mavim can be checked for spelling with a built-in function.
- Select the topic for which you would like to check the spelling in the description field.
- Place the cursor at the top of the topic (The spell checker works from the cursor location down to the end of the description)
- Either press the F7 key or the
button.
- Each time the spell checker encounters a word that is unknown; you will see a screen as shown below:
- You have the option to select which word you would like to replace the mistake with under Suggestions. Select the desired word and click Change.
- The remaining buttons perform the following functions:
- Ignore Once - This button will ignore the word once. All subsequent instances of the word will still be highlighted.
- Ignore All - If you want to keep the typed word and ignore the same word in the rest of the description; click this button.
- Add to User Dictionary - You can add words to your local dictionary so that they are seen as correct in the future.
- Change - This button will change the current instance of the incorrect word to the selected suggestion.
- Change All - Select this button if you want to replace all instances of the incorrectly typed word with your selected.
- Cancel - This will cancel the spell check operation completely.
A messages will appear that indicates that the spell checker is done.
Press OK to close.
