Using this feature, an Administrator can configure which icons will be made available to users when selecting them for a topic.
The icons in this screen are divided up per topic type and shown in a tree structure that can be expanded to reveal icons belonging to that type. This allows you to expand each type and specify which icon is available per type and the order that they are shown in.
Notice in this case that Flowchart has a child icon called Activity which in turn has a number of icons that can be used for the activity topic type. You can make your selections here and only those icons will be available for topics of type Activity
Next to the selection of which icons can be used per topic type, you can also configure the order in which the icons are shown in the user interface for the users. This is done by selecting the desired icon and using the arrow keys on the right side of the screen:
The double arrow buttons move the icon either to the top of the list or the bottom of the list. The single arrow buttons move the icon a single position in the corresponding direction in the tree structure.
Below is an example. Here we have configured 3 icons that can be used for Activity topic types:
If we now check the properties of an Activity topic we see the following:
Only the 3 configured icons can be selected.
This can be done for all topic types in your Mavim database.
