Import - Hierarchical Charts

The process for importing a hierarchical chart is as follows:

1. Choose the general settings. See Import - General Settings.

2. Select the highest hierarchical level topic in the Visio chart. During importing, a screen will appear in which you will be asked to name the top topic: this shape will be at the top in the chart hierarchy.

3. If you want to transfer the name of the top shape to Mavim, enable the option Change the name of the top topic in Mavim? If you want to transfer the name of the topic in Mavim to the chart then do not enable the check box.

4. Click Next to resume importing.

5. The chart will be analysed and included in the Mavim topic tree.
