Import - XML transport topic
The transport topic makes it possible to retain a link between data in Mavim and the same data in external systems. For this reason, Mavim topics are given an "external ID" with which the relationships between the topic in Mavim and the corresponding topic in the XML document is retained. Mavim uses a translation table (the "map") that translates internal IDs to external IDs and vice versa, as illustrated in figure 2. This makes it possible to use XML to update data.
