Language - Translate Explorer

The Translate Explorer is a tool to help translate data in the database and can be accessed as follows:

1. From the Windows tab select Translate Explorer.

2. A second Mavim window is opened with the active database.

3. Select Tile Vertically from the Windows tab.

4. Select the required languages in both windows (see Set Data Language) so that one window is in the source language and the other window in the target language.

In the database, all non translated topics will have an empty name and/or description in the target language. To translate:

1. Click a topic that has not been translated yet.

2. In the database in the source language, the topic is shown in the source language.

3. Enter the translation of the name and description of the selected topic in the target database.

Note: If fields are being used that have the field characteristic multiple values, the same number of fields is created in the target language as in the source language.
