From the context menu of an IDEF0 chart, you can select the Analysis Tool:
You can choose to Show the following information with the Analysis Tool:
· detailed external processes for selected process: If you select a shape in the chart and press this button, you can see which external topics are detailed for the chosen shape. They are shown in the same colour in the chart.
· all instances of the selected process: If you select a shape in the chart and press this button, you will see all instances of the same topic. Each instance is shown in the same colour.
· all non-detailed external processes: Using this option you can show all topics that have not yet been detailed in the chart. They are shown in the same colour in the chart.
· external processes (not compliant with the rules of IDEF0 decomposition): With this option, you can make the topics that do not belong to the IDEF0 composition visible. They are shown in the same colour in the chart.
