It is possible to select an existing shape from the tree when adding a Shape to the ArchiMate drawing.
To do this, first select the shape in the tree. See the example below:
Now select a shape from the stencil, press and hold the Ctrl-key while dragging the shape to the drawing. When the shape is placed, release the Ctrl-key and the shape will receive the name of the topic in the tree.
