Each shape placed in a BPMN chart can be assigned a number of attributes. Depending on the type of shape selected, the corresponding attributes will differ.
To open the Context Information screen do the following:
1. Right click on the shape for which you would like to change the attributes
2. Select Attributes from the context menu
Below is an example of the Context Information screen for a Start Event:
Note that the Context Information screen is dynamic. Depending on which option you select, the screen will expand or collapse to reveal or hide other options.
Here is an example of the Context Information screen for a Gateway shape:
Making selections in the options will also update the shape itself providing information in the shape on which options have been selected. For instance:
