Overview - Cross Function Flowchart - Delete Characteristic from Relationship

You delete a characteristic from a relationship as follows:

1. Click the small square below the process step in which the characteristic is mentioned. The selection is marked green.

2. Press the DELETE key.

Note: Delete characteristic = Delete relationship.

In Mavim, the deletion of characteristics means the deletion of relationships. After all, a relationship can have a maximum of one characteristic. If a process step in a swim lane has more than one characteristic, this means that, for Mavim, there are just as many relationships between that process step and the swim lane as there are relationships.  

If you remove the last or only characteristic that a process step has, the relationship will be deleted, and the process step will be moved to the extra swim lane (unless it is also in another swim lane).
