While you work in Visio you can edit the characteristics definition. In effect, you are changing the cross function flowchart definition.
Note: Other cross function flowcharts may be using the same definition. Any changes made to the definition will affect all flowcharts that use that definition.
To change the characteristics, right-click outside the chart to open the context menu.
1. In the right-click menu, select Characteristics Range.
The following window appears:
2. For each relationship category, the characteristics are shown and can be selected for inclusion in or removal from the definition.
3. In the list on the left, click the characteristic you want to include in the definition and then click
Add >>. Or click All >> if you want to include all characteristics in the definition.
4. You can remove a characteristic from the definition by selecting it in the list on the right, and clicking the << Remove button.
