Overview - Matrices - Edit Relationships and Characteristics in the Matrix
Copying Relationships:
Relationships within a matrix can be copied.
1. Position the cursor on relationships.
2. Using a combination of CTRL and an arrow key, the relationship is copied in the direction of the arrow.
By holding down this keyboard shortcut, you can easily fill a row or column with the same sort of relationships.
CTRL-right arrow and CTRL-left arrow only work in columns within the same relationship category. For each process step, the copy function can only create one relationship with a certain characteristic.
Delete Relationships:
Deleting relationships via the matrix is very simple.
1. Select the relationship that needs to be deleted.
2. Press the DELETE key on your keyboard. (The Delete option is also available in your context menu.)
Alternatively you can delete a realtionship by double clicking it. Normally this creates a new relationship but if one already exists, it will be removed when double clicking it.
Deleting Characteristics in the Matrix:
With the DELETE key (or via Delete from the context menu) you can delete a characteristic and the realtionship it is attached to.
