Overview - Multi-line Shape Names

Any shapes you place in a chart can be given a name which will generally correspond to the name of the topic in Mavim Manager. In order to do this, follow these steps:

1. In Visio, edit the shape name by clicking on it.

2. Enter the text for the first line and then press Shift + Enter.

3. Repeat for each line of the name you want to change.

Note that using only the Enter key will not produce the desired result as once the chart is reopened in Visio, the text for the name will all be on the same line again. It is also important to note that if you use the Shift + Enter method for multi-line shape name, you will need to add a space at the end of each line so that the topic name in Mavim Manager will have spaces as well.
