Publication - Column Format Word Theme - General Tab
On the General tab, you can modify the following settings:
1. Theme Name
Enter or change the theme name. Characters such as \ / ? are not allowed.
2. Microsoft Word Template
A theme uses a Word template. Mavim sets no requirements for the template, which means that you can use the template that your organisation uses when printing other manuals or documents. Mavim will make a copy of the template, incorporate the changes you make, and then use it for printing. The original template remains unaltered. If the original template is modified (e.g. because the house style changed), then the Word theme needs to be created again, using the modified original template.
3. Based on
By default, Mavim uses the same template at Word, Normal.dot. If you select another template, Mavim will show the name of the template on which the theme is based.
4. Select
You can select another template by clicking this button.
5. Edit
Click this button to open a Word session in which you can edit the copy of the template.
See Edit Word Template.
Note: If you have not created a new Word template, then it is best to create a theme, save it with a unique name, open this newly created theme, and then edit the Word template from there.
6. Advanced
Here you can select the topic types you want to print.
