Every relationship can be given a characteristic. A characteristic is a further clarification of the nature of that relationship, e.g. the characteristic "Responsible" for the relationship between a person and a certain process step, or the characteristic yes as a condition of a jump relationship.
Every relationship category has its own set of characteristics. These can be found in the Objects tree

- Roletype, for the Who category.
- When characteristic, for the When category.
- Where characteristic, for the Where category.
- Why characteristic, for the Why category
- Conditions, for the Whereto category.
