Relate - Relationships Catagories

Relationship categories are intended to include topics that support other topics. Topics in a relationship category can be linked to other topics by creating a relationship (see When).

A relationship category contains one or more collections of logically connected topics. E.g. when Mavim is used to describe processes, the relationship categories can contain the following:

Functionaries (Who performs the activity)

Documents (With What is the activity performed)

Technical infrastructure (With What is the activity performed)

Locations (Where is the activity performed)

Standardisations (Why does the activity need to be performed like this) etc.

All topics that are essential for executing an activity properly can be included in the different relationship categories.

Mavim has 7 relationship categories:

  • With What

  • Whereto

  • Wherefrom

  • Who

  • Where

  • When

  • Why

You can create topics in the relationship categories in the same way that you can create them elsewhere in the Topics screen.
