Status "EXPIRED" Prevents Process Continuation in Mavim Portal

If a task in the Mavim Portal shows the status "EXPIRED", it means the task is no longer valid and the process cannot continue.

Why does this happen?

A task may expire due to:

  • A new version of the process being published.
  • The due date of the task being reached.

How to resolve it:

To allow users to continue working with expired tasks:

  1. Log in to the portal as an Administrator.
  2. Go to the General tab.
  3. Under Portal Customizations, locate the setting:
    • Disable persist on expired tasks
  4. Remove this setting.

Once this is done, users will be able to complete the expired task.

If the setting remains enabled:

  • Users will still see the task in their dashboard.
  • They can open the task, but cannot make changes.
  • The only available action will be to remove the task.
