System Options - Miscellaneous

On the Miscellaneous tab, the following sections can be set:

Show error messages:

Here you can set whether or not error messages are shown.

Show Distribution Centre at database startup:

Here you can indicate whether the distribution centre (See Distribution Centre) will show a report when the database is opened. A report is only generated if potentially relevant transport databases have been placed in the directory of the distribution centre and not yet used.

Show keywords window while coupling files:

If coupling files you can enter keywords to make the files searchable on Rules websites. You can choose whether or not to display this window when coupling files. See Couple Topic with and its subtopics for more information.

Ask me what to do with comments when deleting a version:

When deleting a version, a message appears with the question if comments which belong to the version have to be deleted too or not. Enabling this option will show the message when deleting a version.

Show warning when deleting a version:

When a version is deleted, a warning will be shown informing the user that it will not be possible anymore to import comments from website(s) based on the version. Enabling this option will show the warning when deleting a version.

Show message when deleting a topic:

If you choose to no longer show the confirmation when deleting a Topic. it can be re-enabled by enabling this checkbox.

Enable Deprecated Functionality:

Some features of Mavim Manager have are flagged for deprecation and will not be visible by default. Using this option you can enable the features once more. This will only work until the functionality is difinitively removed from Mavim Manager.

Display Manager and Visio on One Screen:

When working with multiple monitors you might want to choose to have Mavim Manager and Visio on the same screen when opening a Visio chart. Using this option you can configure that. When this option is disabled, Visio will always be opened, maximized on your secondary monitor.

Optimize report data during version creation:

This option is only needed when you also work with Mavim iMprove. It is designed to optimize reports for use in Mavim iMprove.

Use new chart processing component (preview):

If you have a large number of charts in your versions, it is advised to use this option when publishing your versions. This can help with performance as well.

Theme:

You have to option to select various themes for Mavim Manager. You can choose from:

· Colorful

· Dark Gray

· Black

· White

Use Icon Set:

With this option, the Standard- or Classic icon set will be used to display icons in the tree.

Tab Position on Main screen:

Here you can specify whether the tabs appear right, left, top or bottom in Mavim screens.
