Filtering a version using fields Problem You wish to create a version but -- KA-01019

Problem

You wish to create a version but some of the sub-processes of Primary Processes that are included in the version are not yet complete.

Solution

Mavim has a feature that allows you to filter on certain fields during the creation of a version. In this example we will be excluding processes that are have the status "Concept".

  1. From the Modelling tab in Mavim; select Version Management -> Create Version.
  2. Select the version definition you want to change.
  3. Click the Edit button.
  4. Now switch to the Filter tab.
  5. Select the Field Set and List on which you would like to set the filter.
  6. Select the field value that is to be used to exclude topics/processes from the version.
  7. Click Close.

The version definition is now ready. Creating any version from that moment on will exclude any topics or processes that have the specified field value.
