One of the most efficient ways to present information is by making use of a Table. Mavim supports the use of tables within the description field of any topic in two ways:

  1. You can use the built-in tools to insert a table directly into the description field.
  2. Copy pasting selected cells from Excel into the description field.

Inserting a Table Using the Mavim Tools:

Follow these steps to insert a table into the description of the selected topic:

  1. Place the cursor in the location you want the table to start.
  2. Open the context menu and select Table > Insert > Table...
  3. Now set the properties for the table:

    and click OK.
  4. You can now start adding information to the table.

Note: If the cursor is in the bottom right cell of the table and you press the Tab key; a new row will automatically be added to your table. Alternatively you can use the context menu on the table to edit the table:
