How to: apply a topic template to a topic

How To

If you would like to apply a template to a Topic; follow these steps:

For New Topics:

1. Create a topic for which both the type and the icon coincide with an enabled template combination.
2. Depending on the selected usage of the template the values will applied to the new topic.

For Existing Topics:

1. Change the type and/or icon so that the configured template combination is matched.
2. Depending on the selected usage of the template the values will be applied to the existing topic.

For Existing Topics for which the type and the icon do coincide with a template combination follow these steps:

1. Place the mouse cursor in the description screen of the topic.
2. Open the context menu and select File>Apply Template.
3. The values from the template will be placed in the existing topic description.
