How To

Assigning Field Sets to Topic Types is very simple. Follow these steps:

NOTE: You will need to have Administrator access rights in Mavim to execute these steps.

  1. In Mavim; select the Administration tab on the Ribbon.
  2. Click Administration Topic Type.
  3. In the top section you choose which Topic Type you want to assign Field Sets to. Click the New button.
  4. From the dropdown-menu; select the desire Topic Type and click OK.
  5. Now make sure you Topic Type is selected in the top section.
  6. In the lower section; click Add.
  7. Select the desired Field Set(s) from the list and click OK.
    TIP: You can select multiple Field Sets using the Ctrl of Shift keys.

The Field Sets are now assigned to the Topic Type. Any topics made of that type will automatically be given the fields that have been assigned through the Field Sets.
