All fields need to be part of a Field Set before they can be assigned to a Topic Type as only Field Sets can be assigned to Topic Types. To create a Field Set; follow these steps:

  1. In Mavim; select the Administration tab.
  2. Now click Field Administration.
  3. In the top section of the Field Administration screen; click the New button 
  4. Give the Field Set a name and press Enter.
  5. In the middle section; select the fields on the left you wish to add to the Field Set and click the right arrow button:    The fields will then be added to the Field Set.
  6. When done click Close.
