How to: working with characteristics

This can be done by making use of Characteristics. Every relationship can be assigned a characteristic and every relationship category has its own set of characteristics. They can be found in the Objects branch of your Mavim database.

• With What characteristic for the With What relationship category.
• Roletype; for the Who category.
• When characteristic; for the When category.
• Where characteristic; for the Where category.
• Why characteristic; for the Why category
• Conditions; for the Whereto category.

To give a relationship a characteristic; follow these steps:

1. Select the relationship for which you want to add a characteristic.
2. Double-click the empty space in the Characteristic column. A drop-down will appear showing the available characteristics.
3. Select the characteristic you want to assign to the relationship.
