Manager - clean up unused characteristics

Question: How can I check whether certain characteristics are still used in the database?

Answer:
In the database; go to Objects – Characteristics (if Objects are not visible; enable them via the menu option Layout)


In the Relationships window; right-click on the heading 'Relationship Category' and choose 'Relationships Screen Options'


Under Show; select "Characteristic Sources"


When you now navigate through the characteristic; you will see in the Relationships window where the relevant characteristic is used;



If the relationship window is empty as in the screenshot below under 'Process trigger'; the characteristic is not used; this characteristic can then be removed without any problems.

(turn off the 'characteristic sources' option after checking the characteristic for clarity).
