Not able to remove relationships

Problem

You have a relationship in the database that you want to remove but it is unclear as to why it cannot be removed.

Solution

There can be a couple of reasons why it is not possible to remove a relationship:

• Access rights have been applied to the element to which the relationship belongs
• The relationship has been coupled as a field relationship

If you are unable to remove a relationship; please check these two possibilities.
