Question:
Why does ArchiMate Charts take so long to load?
Answer:
The main reason for this is that the more underlying diagrams there are; the slower the diagram will load.
To speed up this process; it is possible not to open the entire drawing but only one view.
For example; if you have an ArchiMate Chart with 5 views you can make a selection from the window below that automatically appears when opening the chart:
Select here on the “Selected views” option and then the views you would like to open.
Tip: select all items first and then deselect all by pressing Space.
Then click on a view item to deselect all views and select (check) one view to open.
Alternatively; a single ArchiMate view can also be opened directly by double-clicking the Subchart under the relationship category in Mavim Manager
