Conformance check tab With the Mavim Conformance Checker you can compare -- KA-01551
With the Mavim Conformance Checker you can compare your executed process with your process design. It highlights where the actual process deviates from your design and vise versa. Make sure that you have parsed a reference model from the Mavim Portal; such that can you use the Conformance Checker functionality. For more information on the Conformance Checker; read this knowledge base article.
The Conformance Check tab has these elements:
- On the left; you can see the navigation bar with different graph
- Refence model selector: On the top of the screen you are able to select the reference model.
- Reference model visualizer: Below the reference model selector; the selected reference model is displayed.
- Process Analyzer graph: On the bottom of the screen you are able to work with the process analyzer visual to interact with the event log data.
- Activity view: Toggle the button in the left lower corner to view which activities are present in the reference model and in the data.
Conformance Check report overview

1. Menu
Use the buttons in the menu to navigate between pages in the Mavim Process Mining template.
2. Reference model selector
Use the dropdown selector to select one of the parsed reference models for conformance check analysis in Mavim Process Mining. This dropdown can contain none; 1 or more process models - depending on how many reference process models are parsed from the Mavim Portal.

4. Process Analyzer
With the Process Analyzer visual you compare the process variants with the reference model.
5. Duration
The average duration of the selected cases is shown.
6. #Cases
The number of unique case identifiers is shown and depending on your selection or filtering the gauge will show its corresponding amount of unique case identifiers.
7. #Activities
This shows the unique count of activities that are executed in your analysis based upon the event log.
8. #Variants
This shows the amount of unique process sequences from the total event log. Depending on the selection the gauge will show its respective amount of unique process variants.
9. Conforming cases
This highlights how many unique case identifiers are either Conforming Cases or Non-Conforming cases. This highlight how conforming the cases are to the parsed reference model.
10. Conforming variants
The variants IDs that are conforming to the parsed reference model are displayed here and can be used for filtering the Process Analyzer.
11. Non conforming variants
The variants IDs that are not conforming to the parsed reference model are displayed here and can be used for filtering the Process Analyzer.
12. Activity view
Toggle to switch to view a list of unique activites and perform analysis on which activities are present in the reference model and in the data.
Use this button to apply certain filtering on the Conformance Check tab and include this filtering into another report page for further process analysis.
14. Reset
Use this button to reset all filtering options and start from scratch on this report page.
