Feedback on the portal Question Is there an overview available of how -- KA-01495
Question
Is there an overview available of how the different roles; can see feedback?
Answer
Administrator & Moderator
An Administrator and a Moderator have a 'figure' icon in the toolbar
All feedback entered on the Portal is visible there (regardless of the status of the website and the group rights; even if the Administrator or Moderator are not in the group or when the respective version is Offline)
When a version is removed from the Portal (and the process is still ongoing); it is shown as follows:
If the version is completely removed from the Portal; the feedback is no longer visible and the above line is gone.
Approver
An Approver has no 'figure' icon in the toolbar and therefore no overview of all feedback entered.
An Approver will only see the 'figure' icon come up in a version where it has permissions to an item on which feedback has been provided by any user.
(Versions that have a status of Offline or Hidden are not visible to the Approver and if an Approver does not have group rights to a version; the respective version will not be visible).
When the feedback is given in a previous version then the following message will be shown (even if that version is offline).
Contributor & Subscriber
A Contributor and a Subscriber have no ‘figure’ icon in the toolbar and therefore no overview of all feedback entered.
A Contributor and a Subscriber will only see the 'figure' icon come up in a version where it has permissions to an item on which feedback has been provided by any user.
(Versions that have a status of Offline; Approval or Hidden are not visible to the Contributor and Subscriber. If a Contributor and Subscriber do not have group rights to a version; the respective version is not visible).
If the feedback is given in a previous version; the following message will be displayed (even if that version is offline).
For all users applies that through the Dashboard button all feedback is visible that is entered by the user (even on offline versions).
