Mavim Process Mining is configured via the Mavim Portal. The users in your organization can use the insights of the Process Mining dashboarding to improve their processes. In this article it is explained what steps you need to complete to succesfully load and configure Mavim Process Mining to the Mavim Portal.
Steps to complete
Step 1
Make sure you are logged in as a user to the Mavim Portal with Administrator or Moderator rights. Go to the Portal Admin settings on the Mavim Portal. Click on the 'lock' icon behind your name. In case you don't have access to the 'lock' icon; please contact your company's technical contact to get the required access rights for the Mavim Portal.
Step 2
Navigate to the Process Mining tab. Click on 'Load credentials' and 'Load reports'. The credentials panel should be filled with data. The reports sections should remain empty. In the next step we will create a new report.
Step 3
Click on 'New report' and give your report a proper name and avoid spaces and special characters in the name.
Step 4
The report is being created and a dialogue window appears that shows the progress. Once completed; a new record is added to the table view that provides an overview of your reports. Depending on the license structure and the amount of purchased Mavim Process Mining Servers you can create one or more reports.
Step 5
Click on 'Preview' to open the report and validate if it opens correctly (try closing and reopening Preview in case you see an error). Repeat the steps for 'Edit' button.

Well done! You have succesfully configured Mavim Process Mining with the Mavim Portal. You are now ready to start loading the first event log to analyze the process and start generating insights for process improvements.
