Manager - set up add-ins in word template Question : How can I add add-ins to -- KA-01624
Question: How can I add add-ins to the Word template in the Online environment?
Answer:
Copy the .dotm file from the Mavim online environment to your own environment (See https://my.mavim.com/en-US/knowledge-base/article/KA-01594 ).
Open the .dotm file on your own environment and click on 'Enable content'
Add the add-ins to the Word template as follows:
In Word; select the Insert menu
Only MavimStart position is a bookmark;
for the rest of the features follow these steps:
Go to Quick Parts - Field
In the list under Please Choose a Field; search for MergeField.
For Field Name; enter the name of the field you would like to add.
(For example; use <Mavim_1#Title> in the Field Name to specify the Title location)
Give it the desired size and place it in the desired location in the dotm file:
See below a table with all possible fields used by Mavim Manager to publish Word documents:
Close the .dotm file; the indicated add-ins will be added to the .dotm file.
When this is done; click on the gray slide-out bar at the top center of the screen in Mavim Manager and choose File Transfer - Upload
Here you select the modified .dotm file which will then appear again in the Mavim Cloud on TempDisk
In Mavim; go to Edit – Couple Topic with – File; so that the Explorer screen is displayed again and drag the file to the correct folder on S: \Mavim\Wordthemes\.. (Make sure that the name of the modified .dotm file is the same as the original name and overwrite the old file); after a Word publication based on this .dotm file; the add-ins will be visible in the generated Word document.
